The Fool Finds The Value in Sharing
When we typically see The Hermit, we think solitude.
He stands on the top of a mountain holding his own lamp. His white beard is a sign of much wisdom gained through his many years of seeking truth and soul searching. He is a life long student, yes, but this dude is different. He shines his light, sharing what he has learned with the world. He’s done the work and learned through self-discovery. He still seeks knowledge every day, he will never finish searching and sharing his journey. He is enlightened and wants to shine that light for all.
This card always calls me to do more research.
Go deep into my own introspection.
Discover the hidden meanings and truth of all things, starting with me.
Knowledge is power.
When I go dark and into reflection, I learn a great deal and I am grateful for each lesson.
The Fool finds the value in doing the work and sharing with others. He learns to seek his own truth and self. He learns to share his own light with the world. He learns to keep looking, keep researching, keep learning.
I take time to be alone and reflect. The best lessons are ones I learned unconsciously. I’ll think back to an event or a conversation and a light bulb just goes off.
I strive to find value in everything. Every experience, every feeling or emotion and what’s hidden deep inside of my own soul. We sometimes think we are flawed, that we have things inside that are terrible and think should be hidden.
We are ashamed.
Once I stepped into the space of finding value in those things I perceived as dark within myself, my world shifted.
I have no flaws to hide.
I am real.
I am human.
I judge myself too harshly.
I have made mistakes.
I have no flaws to blame for they are a part of what makes me whole. Once I dedicated myself to education and learning, I stepped onto a path that led me here. I am The Hermit, especially during the dark moon. I seek knowledge, I seek my own truth and am on a journey of self-discovery always. I stand upon that mountain shining my own light and invite and encourage you all to do the same.
