Let’s do some knot magick!
What I love about knot spells are the simplicity. It’s all about your intention. Whatever the work is, you’re tying the intention or joining something to you. Could be prosperity, a change in reality, love, whatever. The knots hold that magick infused with whatever your intention may be.
All you need is a simple cord. I used 3 of them for this because of my intention, but it’s your magick so use what makes sense. I’m always extra with my work. One simple string, cord, yarn or thread will do.
My witch ladders and cords are usually the color that corresponds with my magick. Last night I used a blank slate but you can find the color correspondence chart right here if you need it: https://www.whitewitchgrimoire.com/color-correspondences/
For this, I cut 3 strings that were 36 inches long.
I made this last night while sitting with my candles and thinking about all of you. This is filled with my intention for you all. Happiness, peace and abundance for my family.
While tying your knots, hold that intention in a space of gratitude. Like it’s already manifested.
Knot One

Knot Two

Knot Three

Knot Four

Knot Five

Knot Six

Knot Seven

Knot Eight

Knot Nine

The pattern of the knots are:
1–6–4–7–3–8–5–9–2
This is the order that you tie the knots on your cord.

As you tie each one, repeat this 3 times for each – this is actually a Willow thing. I’ve seen other spells where it’s only said once, but I like the number 3.
By knot of one, the spell’s begun.
By knot of two, the magick comes true.
By knot of three, so shall it be.
By knot of four, this power is stored.
By knot of five, my will shall drive.
By knot of six, the spell I fix.
By knot of seven, the future I leaven.
By knot of eight, my will be fate.
By knot of nine, what is done is mine.
I like to use knots in spells and then sit a few minutes with it and repeat for as long as I am working the spell. Doesn’t have to be every day, but like jars, I keep working my knots.
Sitting and holding the belief that it’s worked.
To undo the spell, just untie in the order you tied them.
